This is the alternative version of model 2225. The demi-lune top is veneered in fine maple burr veneer finished to a highly-polished mulberry colour that resembles tortoiseshell. The top rests on a conforming frieze decorated in neoclassic style featuring gilt flutes and rosettes. The slender round tapering legs feature carved inverted waterleaves above stop fluting that terminates in carved feet.
