Elegant late 18^th century George III-style breakfront credenza with architectural details – the moulded top is et with a field of fine mahogany, traced with boxwood line and crossbanded quarter mahogany. The top rests on a conforming base featuring carefully veneered curved door panels and faux drawer fronts. The centre features one drawer above two doors enhanced with neoclassical cast brass capitals and fluted columns and the whole model is raised on a moulded plinth. Illustrated here in ‘X’ antique finish, the cabinet is also available in heavily distressed ‘XX’ finish (model 2243XX) and standard finish (model 2243).
